People would always question themselves, why do we need to study? What is the ultimate purpose of education?
If you’re at school, then going straight back to the books might be the last thing on your mind. And if you’re working, your commitments aren’t going to go away just because you decide to study. That’s the reality, but the benefits of greater satisfaction and better pay mean that it’s all worth it.
Education began long before there were schools, universities and colleges. Way back in ancient times, people taught their children what they needed to know for survival. The earliest schools recorded in history were in Mesopotamia and Egypt about 2000 to 1000 B.C. Early philosophers such as Aristotle and Plato pointed out that education was central to the moral fulfillment of individuals and the well-being of the society in which they live. The importance of education is undeniable for every single person. It goes without saying that education has positive effects in every human being.
Once you start in further education you can specialize in whatever you want – it is as much about learning how to study as it is about what you’re learning. If you can research, analyze, problem-solve and communicate well, you can translate those skills to whatever you end up doing. It would give you source of livelihood and it would take you to different places and opportunities.

No matter how you define success – whether it’s in dollar signs, knowing your job is secure, feeling satisfied in your work or challenging yourself to reach new levels of knowledge – further study, at any stage of your life, will open up opportunities.
For younger students, studying can be an important time of transition when you get to learn new things and also meet new people, many of whom will share your interests or expose you to different ways of thinking. And with a world-class education system and government support to help with the costs, why not take advantage of it?
Advantages of having an education are so many. But imagine if you didn’t receive any educational attainment, you wouldn’t have been able to gain the knowledge or the awareness that you have now. You would not be able to maintain a certain position of which you have today in the society. How we study and how we utilize education would depend on each individual and vary from person to person. Maturity comes also through education. It makes us able to understand other’s views in a better way. And finally, it helps us in living a better life by making us able to earn a respectable life.
