AMERICAN DHIMMITUDE:  GRAHAM AND TANCREDO vs THE DHIMMI MAKERS AND THE DHIMMIS MADE

(01 August 2005)

Let’s let them tell you their stories in their own words., after we provide some background.

Washington, D.C., has a once grande dame of a radio station, WMAL, 630 AM.  It has been in DC for many decades.  While in the Navy, stationed in the DC area, WMAL was my favorite radio station.  As of the week of the week of 25 July 2005, WMAL all but officially declared itself “Radio Dhimmitude.”  Dhimmi is one who lives in dhimmitude, as a non-Muslim under Muslim domination.  Dhimmitude is a disgraceful state which has been imposed on non-Muslims by Muslims wherever they could impose it since the 7th century C.E.  Read anything by Bat Ye’or, Robert Spencer, Ibn Warraq, and countless others who have explained dhimmitude in florid detail (e.g., The Myth of Islamic Tolerance, by Robert Spencer, published 2004 as a book of essays by persons very expert in dhimmitude, among other Muslim intolerances).  Dhimmitude is next to slavery itself.  It is a self-abasement that dhimmis living among Muslims use to try to prevent Muslims from killing them.  No American with an ounce of self-esteem would stand for it.  However, dhimmitude can also be achieved slowly, like the parable about boiling the frog in the pot by raising the temperature imperceptivity slowly so that the frog would not protest and resist, until, finally, it could not.

WMAL had a radio talk show host named Michael Graham.  After the second round of London bombings by Muslim jihadists, he let fly on the toxicity of Islam, on air, 25 July 2005.  Covert jihadis among the vast Muslim infestations in DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia took umbrage.  [“Covert jihad” refers to the continuing attacks on America from within America, done by fifth columnist organizations which have the same ultimate goal as that of the overt jihadists:  the destruction of capitalist America and its replacement by an Islamic state.]  That self-righteous outfit that Dr. Joseph Goebbels would have adored, CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations), rose in high protest.  CAIR sent out an email to all of those who do its every bidding, to flood WMAL and its advertisers with protests, to make Mr. Graham apologize and to make the station make the amends it wanted.  Mr. Graham did not apologize, nor did he back down.  In fact, the next day, he published an explanatory article in Jewish World Review.  Following that article, Mr. Graham was suspended from WMAL.

CAIR has been crowing in triumph.  It has even published the responses of WMAL advertisers to its protests.

With the publication of Mr. Graham’s article (text to follow), establishment chicken excrement reached flood levels, and it smelled and looked like dhimmitude.  Let us take it apart, to understand it, before our fellow Americans, who are rushing to the Muslim leash, kill us all.

The first inkling to those of us who live nowhere near the D.C. area had of the situation came via the daily CAIR emailing of 25 July 2005.  This is the email (abridged) that CAIR sent to those on its subscription list:

CAIR ACTION ALERT #462

DC RADIO HOST SAYS 'ISLAM IS A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION'
Ask WMAL to reprimand Michael Graham for 'hate-filled' remarks

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 7/25/05) - CAIR today called on a Washington, D.C., radio station to reprimand a talk show host who states repeatedly that "Islam is a terrorist organization." American Muslims are also being urged to contact the station's advertisers to express their concerns about the host's Islamophobic views.

CAIR says it has received complaints today from Muslim listeners who heard WMAL-AM's Michael Graham state: 1. "Islam is a terrorist organization." 2. "Islam is at war with America." 3. "The problem is not extremism. The problem is Islam." 4. "We are at war with a terrorist organization named Islam."

When contacted by CAIR, WMAL's Program Director Randall Bloomquist said he stands behind Graham. He said that while WMAL would not permit the use of the "N-word" or anti-Semitic slurs, Graham's remarks about Islam do not require disciplinary action.

"Such hate-filled and inflammatory remarks only serve to encourage those who would turn bigoted views into violent or discriminatory actions against ordinary American Muslims," said CAIR Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. "Reasoned discussion on issues related to terrorism should be encouraged, but extremist anti-Muslim rhetoric harms our nation's image worldwide and serves as a recruiting tool for terrorists."

Hooper said CAIR is asking American Muslims and other people of conscience to contact WMAL advertisers and express their concerns about Graham's remarks.

Last year, CAIR challenged on-air remarks by Graham that seemed to make an implicit call for violence against Muslims. He said: "I don't wanna say we should kill 'em all [Muslims], but unless there's reform [within Islam], there aren't a lot of other solutions that work in the ground struggle for survival." (Graham later claimed he was only referring to so-called "Islamists," but the context of the quote indicated otherwise.)

Graham also said: "Would you hire an Arab-Muslim group for a friend's daughter's Bat Mitzvah, I wouldn't, if you would you're a dope, that's not bigotry, that completely reasonable smart discrimination." Graham's remarks were highlighted in the announcement of CAIR's "Hate Hurts America" campaign designed to counter anti-Muslim hate on radio talk shows. SEE: http://www.cair.com/hatehurtsamerica/

Muslims Call Comments by WMAL Host 'Hate-Filled'

By Paul Farhi
Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, July 26, 2005; C01

A local radio talk show host touched off complaints from an Islamic civil rights organization yesterday after repeatedly describing Islam on the air as "a terrorist organization" that is "at war with America."

The organization, the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), asked the station to take disciplinary action against Michael Graham, who hosts WMAL-AM's late-morning call-in program.

A station executive, Randall Bloomquist, said yesterday that Graham's comments were "amped up" but justified within the context of the program. He said the station, which is owned by the Walt Disney Co., had no plans to reprimand Graham.

The show host touched off the flap during a discussion of the Muslim community's response to recent acts of terrorism. Graham suggested the fault lies with Muslims generally because religious leaders and followers haven't done enough to condemn and root out extreme elements. "The problem is not extremism," Graham said, according to both CAIR and the station. "The problem is Islam." He also said, "We are at war with a terrorist organization named Islam."

CAIR denounced the comments yesterday as "hate-filled" and "Islamophobic" and asked its members to contact the station's advertisers to express their dismay.

"It's amazing," said Ibrahim Hooper, CAIR's communications director. "I talked with Mr. Bloomquist and asked him if he would reprimand someone who used the n-word on the air. He said yes. I asked him if he would reprimand someone who read [approvingly] from the [anti-Semitic] 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion.' He said yes. So I asked him if he would do the same if someone had called Islam a terroristic organization. Well, he said, it's all about context, but he never quite explained it to me."

Added Hooper, "The First Amendment allows people to be idiots and bigots. All you can do is embarrass people and have them defend their reputation. If WMAL doesn't feel embarrassed and doesn't want to defend its reputation in the face of anti-Muslim bigotry, then there's not much we can do about it."

Graham, who broadcasts locally, is one of several conservative hosts heard on WMAL (630). The station's daily lineup includes the syndicated Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity programs.

Graham declined to comment when contacted yesterday, saying, "I'm saving all my comments for my show. You'll just have to listen." But in his weekly column, which will appear on WMAL's Web site today, he repeats the statement that "Islam is a terror organization" and makes the following analogy:

“Today, Islam has whole sects and huge mosques that preach terror. Its theology is openly used to give the murderers their motives. Millions of its members give these killers comfort. The question isn't how dare I call Islam a terrorist organization, but rather why more people do not."

Bloomquist said his station had received more than 100 e-mails protesting Graham's comments, many of them, he said, apparently generated by CAIR's e-mails to its members. He went on to defend Graham, saying, "Remember that this is talk radio. We don't do the dainty minuet of the newspaper editorial page. It's not 'Washington Week in Review.' It depends on pungent statements to drive it. Michael is rattling the cage. It's designed to start and further a conversation, and it has certainly done that."

At first, the WMAL front office suits showed respect for the First Amendment and their own integrity; they stood behind their talk show host, as honorable men should do.  The powerful at WMAL showed guts and integrity, and they garnered admiration.  However, CAIR kept up with its intimidation campaign.

On 28 July 2005, Michael Graham published an article in Jewish World Review which clearly stated his views:

Jewish World Review July 28, 2005 / 21 Tamuz, 5765

THE TRAGEDY OF ISLAM

By Michael Graham

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | I take no pleasure in saying it. It pains me to think it. I could very well lose my job in talk radio over admitting it. But it is the plain truth:
Islam is a terror organization.

For years, I've been trying to give the world's Muslim community the benefit of the doubt, along with the benefit of my typical-American's complete disinterest in their faith. Before 9/11, I knew nothing about Islam except the greeting "asalaam alaikum," taught to me by a Pakistani friend in Chicago.

Immediately after 9/11, I nodded in ignorant agreement as President Bush assured me that "Islam is a religion of peace."

But nearly four years later, nobody can defend that statement. And I mean "nobody."

Certainly not the group of "moderate" Muslim clerics and imams who gathered in London last week to issue a statement on terrorism and their faith. When asked the question "Are suicide bombings always a violation of Islam," they could not answer "Yes. Always." Instead, these "moderate British Muslims" had to answer "It depends."

Precisely what it depends on, news reports did not say. Sadly, given our new knowledge of Islam from the past four years, it probably depends on whether or not you're killing Jews.

That is part of the state of modern Islam.

Another fact about the state of Islam is that a majority of Muslims in countries like Jordan continue to believe that suicide bombings are legitimate. Still another is the poll reported by a left-leaning British paper than only 73 percent of British Muslims would tell police if they knew about a planned terrorist attack.

The other 27 percent? They are a part of modern Islam, too.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is outraged that I would dare to connect the worldwide epidemic of terrorism with Islam. They put it down to bigotry, asserting that a lifetime of disinterest in Islam has suddenly become blind hatred. They couldn't be more wrong.

Not to be mean to the folks at CAIR, but I don't: Care, that is. I simply don't care about Islam, its theology, its history  —  I have no interest in it at all. All I care about is not getting blown to smithereens when I board a bus or ride a plane. I care about living in a world where terrorism and murder/suicide bombings are rejected by all.

And the reason Islam has itself become a terrorist organization is that it cannot address its own role in this violence. It cannot cast out the murderers from its members. I know it can't, because "moderate" Muslim imams keep telling me they can't. "We have no control over these radical young men," one London imam moaned to the local papers.

Can't kick 'em out of your faith? Can't excommunicate them? Apparently Islam does not allow it.

Islam cannot say that terrorism is forbidden to Muslims. I know this because when the world's Muslim nations gathered after 9/11 to state their position on terrorism, they couldn't even agree on what it was. How could they, when the world's largest terror sponsors at the time were Iran and Saudi Arabia  —  both governed by Islamic law.

If the Boy Scouts of America had 1,000 scout troops, and 10 of them practiced suicide bombings, then the BSA would be considered a terrorist organization. If the BSA refused to kick out those 10 troops, that would make the case even stronger. If people defending terror repeatedly turned to the Boy Scout handbook and found language that justified and defended murder  —  and the scoutmasters in charge simply said "Could be"  —  the Boy Scouts would have driven out of America long ago.

Today, Islam has entire sects and grand mosques that preach terror. Its theology is used as a source of inspiration by terrorist murderers. Millions of Islam's members give these killers support and comfort.

The question isn't how dare I call Islam a terrorist organization, but rather why more people do not.

As I've said many times, I have great sympathy for those Muslims of good will who want their faith to be a true "religion of peace." I believe that terrorism and murder do violate the sensibilities and inherent decency of the vast majority of the world's Muslims. I believe they want peace.

Sadly, the organization and fundamental theology of Islam as it is constituted today allows for hatreds most Muslims do not share to thrive, and for criminals they oppose to operate in the name of their faith.

Many Muslims, I believe, know this to be true and some are acting on it. Not the members of CAIR, unfortunately: As Middle East analyst and expert Daniel Pipes has reported, "two of CAIR's associates (Ghassan Elashi, Randall Royer) have been convicted on terrorism-related charges, one (Bassem Khafegi) convicted on fraud charges, two (Rabih Haddad, Bassem Khafegi) have been deported, and one (Siraj Wahhaj) remains at large."

But Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf admits what CAIR will not. He's called for a jihad against the jihadists. He's putting his life on the line (Islamists have tried to assassinate him three times) in the battle to reclaim Islam and its fundamental decency.

He remembers, I'm sure, that at a time when Western, Christian civilization was on the verge of collapse, the Muslim world was a bastion of rationalism and tolerance. That was a great moment in the history of Islam, a moment that helped save the West.

Let's hope Islam can now find the strength to save itself.

Before going further, I challenge anyone to try to refute the truth of anything about Islam said by Graham, with one exception.  The only untruth is his assertion that “…the Muslim world was a bastion of rationalism and tolerance.”  It never was.  It came the closest it would ever come in the 9th century C.E. when Muslim scholars came alive after pilfering, from those they conquered, copies of Greek philosophy and extant scientific knowledge of the world.  Islam banned reason about 900 C.E., and the rest has been downhill.

After Graham’s Jewish World Review article, political correctness set in big time at WMAL.  From the WMAL website:

630 WMAL Suspends Michael Graham

In a statement released last night, 630 WMAL president and general manager Chris Berry announced midday personality Michael Graham would be indefinitely suspended pending an internal investigation into Graham's July 25th remarks that Islam is a terrorist organization.

"Talk radio is an excellent forum to discuss issues important to our society.  Nevertheless, the statements that Michael Graham made on July 25 crossed the line," Berry said.  "He has been suspended pending an internal investigation. We do not condone his position, and we believe his statements were irresponsible."

Shortly after the second round of bombings in London last week, Graham began telling listeners Muslim leaders were complicit in terrorism, since they had not said or done enough to curb extremism.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued a press release late Monday condemning Graham's remarks and urging the station to repremand him.  The station has received hundreds of emails and calls since then, both supporting and criticizing Graham.

Yesterday, CAIR and other American Muslim leaders gathered in Washington to announce a fatwah, or religious edict, against terrorism, citing criticisms that Muslim leaders had not said or done enough to curb extremism.

CAIR announced on 28 July which WMAL advertisers that its androids should gun for.  In the interest of space, I have eliminated the addresses and telephone numbers listed in the CAIR emailing and removed the extraneous:

CAIR ACTION ALERT #463

DC RADIO HOST SUSPENDED OVER ANTI-ISLAM REMARKS
Contact WMAL to ask that Michael Graham be fired

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 7/29/05) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today applauded a Washington, D.C., radio station's decision to suspend without pay a talk show host who stated repeatedly that "Islam is a terrorist organization."

CAIR said WMAL-AM morning host Michael Graham should be fired for his Islamophobic remarks, for other statements made before and after the most recent controversy and for his refusal to apologize for those comments.

The Washington-based Islamic civil rights and advocacy group this week initiated a campaign against WMAL and the station's advertisers after receiving complaints from Muslim listeners who heard Graham state: 1. "Islam is a terrorist organization." 2. "Islam is at war with America." 3. "The problem is not extremism. The problem is Islam." 4. "We are at war with a terrorist organization named Islam."

Other listeners said that Graham even encouraged a public "backlash" against Muslims. (Graham later claimed he meant a backlash of social pressure, not violent attack on Muslims.) In response to his suspension, the Washington Post quoted Graham as saying, "I will not recant."

When first contacted by CAIR, WMAL stood behind Graham, but changed its position after hundreds of people responded to the group's action alerts by contacting the station and its sponsors. In a statement, WMAL President and General Manager Chris Berry said that Graham would be suspended for statements that "crossed the line." "We do not condone his position and believe his statements were irresponsible," said Berry. (WMAL is owned by the Walt Disney Co.)

"We believe the station's actions are appropriate, if long overdue," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. "It is time for WMAL to distance itself and its advertisers from bigotry by making Graham's suspension permanent."

Strutting in triumph, CAIR let us read the response of one advertiser who had dhimmied up, right on command:

In response to a CAIR action alert, many people contacted those advertisers. One advertiser responded with the following e-mail message:

"Thank you for contacting our company regarding the comments made by Michael Graham on the WMAL Radio Station.

"I can assure you that we at Moore Cadillac Hummer agree with you totally. Anyone that paints a negative picture of an entire segment of society based on the actions of a few is shortsighted and ignorant. That type of broad-brush stereotyping is detrimental to the extensive progress this country has made in the battle against prejudice and bigotry.

"WMAL programming features two other personalities that have come out against Michael Graham in Chris Core and Fred Grandy. Their views are much more in line with ours and we support them fervently. . ."

CAIR keeps up the intimidation by its daily emailings to its obedient flock demanding that they keep the pressure on WMAL to fire Mr. Graham.  As of the first of August of 2005, the saga remains unfinished.

To introduce the second part of the story, compare the foregoing, dhimmi behavior by WMAL, the Walt Dhimmi Corporation, ABC, and these “I-am-too-scared-to-lose-a-sale” advertisers to that of Representative Tom Tancredo (R-CO).  Mr. Tancredo in July 2005 was asked on a talk radio interview about what options to think about should Muslims set off nuclear devices within the United States of America.  In the course of the conversation, he mentioned that attacking Islamic holy sites belongs in strategic thinking possibilities.

Well, the blowhards blew.  Democrats ran for their talking points.  Republicans mumbled pabulum and began sticking wet fingers in the air.  Newspapers expressed severe embarrassment as well as questioning everything that could be questioned about the character, function, and lineage of Mr. Tancredo.  Even he-who-refuses-to-see-the-truth-about-Muslims, in the White House, spoke out against Mr. Tancredo.  Right wing bloggers went insane attacking the congressman, as did right wing talk radio.  Almost all distorted what Mr. Tancredo said, then attacked the distortion.

But, you know what?  Mr. Tancredo was right:  We must do comprehensive strategic thinking, and that must include “unmentionables,” even if rational people can’t figure out why they are considered “unmentionable.”  These unmentionables resemble open family secrets, e.g., that mom is a lush, but no one is supposed to address it or acknowledge it in the family.

Furthermore, Mr. Tancredo knew he is right, and he started saying so.  He even published a fine op-ed in the Denver Post in which he mentioned more “unmentionables.”  And he refused to apologize.  HE REFUSED TO APOLOGIZE!

CAIR almost blew a gasket, but, Mr. Tancredo stood firm.  In no time, it was obvious to those of us in fly-over country that, in Mr. Tancredo, stands a MAN.  In our Congress, no less, is a person of guts, integrity, and principles, and he is proud of them.  Yahoo, and yippee!

CAIR responded via its perpetual, public loud mouth with all sorts of pabulum about how dangerous the future had become because of Mr. Tancredo’s remarks.  The protests were not just porcine feces.  CAIR showed its fear.  It was not used to being defied.  It was used to doing to anyone what it did to WMAL and getting totally away with it.  However, Mr. Tancredo would not back down, and CAIR showed how fragile and weak it really is underneath all of its Wizard-of-Oz-like bluster.  Mr. Tancredo proved himself no dhimmi.

Mr. Graham so far shows himself not to be dhimmi either.  From the ACAIR emailing of 29 July 2005 shines forth fortitude:

If our conversation on 630 WMAL helped CAIR finally take this long-needed step, then we've done something good for the future of Islam," Graham said. Graham acknowledged that his statement has upset some people, but he refuses to recant. "Ahmed H. Al-Rahim, an Iraqi-American who has taught Arabic and Islamic studies at Harvard, wrote a piece in the Wall Street Journal earlier this week about a prominent Egyptian moderate who criticized the Islamists and their influence on all of Islam, and was threatened with death. He recanted and promised to be silent to save his life." "I can't blame him." "But I'm an American, and if fighting for free speech and for the truth in the war on terrorism means getting fired by some corporate suit at ABC Disney who can't stand up for free speech ----so be it. But I will not recant," Graham said.  (Emphases ours)

WMAL Suspends Talk-Show Host for Comment on Islam

By Paul Farhi
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, July 29, 2005; C01

Radio talk-show host Michael Graham was suspended by station WMAL-AM yesterday for repeatedly describing Islam as a "terrorist organization" on his program.

Graham said he has been ordered off the Washington station, without pay, for an indefinite period while the station investigates the comments that drew complaints from a Muslim group, the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Officials at WMAL, which is owned by the Walt Disney Co., had initially declined to take disciplinary action against Graham. However, WMAL President and General Manager Chris Berry said last night that Graham would be suspended for making statements that "crossed the line."

"We do not condone his position and believe his statements were irresponsible," Berry said in a statement.

Graham, 42, said on his mid-morning program on Monday that the fault for recent acts of terrorism lies not with Islamic radicals alone but also with Muslims generally because religious leaders and followers have tacitly supported extreme elements. "The problem is not extremism," Graham told listeners. "The problem is Islam." He also said, "We are at war with a terrorist organization named Islam."

CAIR denounced the comments as "hate-filled" and asked its members to contact the station's advertisers to express their dismay. Several hundred people across the country sent e-mails to the station and some of its advertisers, said Ibrahim Hooper, CAIR's communications director.

"I think this action is long overdue and appropriate," Hooper said of Graham's suspension. "I think it's a testament to the determination of individual Muslims who contacted the station and its advertisers to say Islamophobia and anti-Muslim bigotry are unacceptable." One advertiser, Moore Cadillac Hummer, wrote a letter to CAIR denouncing Graham's statements but did not say it would pull its ads, he said.

Graham, whose program is part of WMAL's lineup of conservative talk shows, remained unapologetic and defiant. "I honestly don't know what Disney is investigating me for, unless it's for doing a compelling talk show that gets people's attention," he said. "I thought that was my job."

He also said, "If fighting for free speech and for the truth in the war on terrorism means getting fired by some corporate suits at ABC Disney who can't stand up for free speech -- so be it. But I will not recant."

However, station sources say Graham is unlikely to be fired and will be back on the air after the current controversy cools down.

Note the quality of the “thinking” from “station sources” within WMAL:

“However, station sources say Graham is unlikely to be fired and will be back on the air after the current controversy cools down.

Who is fooling whom?  All of this spineless kerfuffle was just to appease CAIR and a mess of chronically angry Muslims?  “Obsequious sycophantia” comes to mind as a term for all of this.

Aside from lack of moral fiber, what fuels dhimmi thinking and behavior in America is ignorance, which keeps people morally uncertain, among other detriments.  From journalists, television hosts, talk show radio hosts, columnists, and out to the business selling Cadillacs and Hummers, few IF ANY have read as much as one word about Islam.  Their minds are stuck on assumptions, few of which are correct or relevant.

Since 11 September 2001, there is no excuse for any American to be ignorant about Islam.  There are now many, many marvelous sources of correct information about Islam and the deceptive behavior of its practitioners.  We list many on the Recommended page on our website.  Just recently, the latest book by Robert Spencer, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades), has been published and released (Although we have scanned the book and read sections, we have not had time to review it, the book looks like a smashing good source for starting to learn the truth about Islam, and we do value what Robert Spencer writes.)  Indeed, the truth makes us free, but not if people are too goddammed lazy to pick up a book to learn about the enemy that wants to kill or enslave most of us, and make dhimmis of the rest of us to do the work and pay the poll taxes to support the conquering Muslims in the style they want to accustom themselves to.

There are far deeper issues here than some food-fight between Americans on one side and Muslims on the other* .

A responder to an op-ed reprinted on our blog, Sixth Column, wrote chillingly on 29 July of the world that ABC, the Walt Dhimmi Corporation, and WMAL are capitulating to.  He thereby began to expose the motives and some of the methodology of the covert jihad:

What matters to most Americans is being able to buy some of the merchandise in Wal-Mart, instead of just fondling it.  That and reasonably priced gas sustains the notion that we are somehow a free people.  I think terrorist leaders are at this moment debating the consequences of using a few suitcase nukes on America, and whether or not such action is really needed, or if the insidious and slavish creep of material complacency residing in the hearts of most Americans will suffice, coupled with continued Islamic immigration.  If I were a terrorist leader, I would opt for the latter, because in the long-run, the reward is greater.  If one seriously looks at the moral and spiritual fibre of this nation, and if there are no more attacks on American soil in the next 7-10 years, imams will be able to preach hate and advocate terrorism openly from mosques right here in America.  I find exceptional black humor and irony in the fact that the Constitution is aiding and abetting the forces that actively seek its demise.  With growing numbers and modern technology and affluency, Islamic forces in America are stifling free speech and the dissemination of information via litigation and the machinations of political correctness.  How long until you of this web site face litigation?  5 years?  3?  8?

The purpose of all of the legion lawsuits and protests engineered by CAIR, et al, is more sinister and deeper than just making a bunch of white folks jump in line.  The purpose, using one of the pillars of the covert jihad, is to train the thinking of those to be taken over.  These Islamic propaganda groups want to intimidate Americans, like they have done to Europeans who are now all but totally cowed.  The purpose is make the target populations flinch into obsequious and obedient behavior when ordered--and when demands are made, to reply unhesitatingly with the equivalent of “Aye, aye, and three bags full.”  This is thought conditioning.

Read what the world’s expert regarding dhimmis and dhimmitude, Bat Ye'or, writes:

Dhimmitude is characterised by the victim's siding with his oppressors, by the moral justification the victim provides for his oppressors' hateful behavior, and by the destruction of the victim's own self by a mental enslavement of love and admiration toward his oppressors. Willfully serving his oppressors, the dhimmi loses the sense of his own rights and humanity. He loses the possibility of revolt because revolt arises from a sense of injustice, and the dhimmi justifies the injustices done against him because he is utterly destroyed as a human being.

Note how Bat Ye’or addresses how dhimmis manifest what is now called “the Stockholm syndrome.”  It starts with victims providing the moral justification for their oppressors and their own dhimmitude.  It progresses to “love and admiration toward his oppressors.”  Look at Castro’s Cuba and ask yourself why these people live in their obedient psycho-epistemological state (thinking, thus feeling and behaving), living in a manner greatly resembling dhimmitude.  Thought control, thus people control, worked with socialism although the techniques differed.  Populations in Europe had their minds socialized to prepare the way.  Government action establishing socialism became simple after that, and, to paraphrase Star Trek’s and its arch-villains, the Borg, resistance became futile.  Socialist populations live in contentment with their degraded state.

We have not yet mentioned the other intent of these assaults:  the full scale assault on the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.  Just as the Supreme Court of the United States abrogated the right to property and the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution on 23 July 2005, getting Rep. Tancredo and Michael Graham sets the stage to rid us of the First Amendment.  This is exactly what the commenter to Sixth Column, whom we have cited, meant:  “With growing numbers and modern technology and affluency, Islamic forces in America are stifling free speech and the dissemination of information via litigation and the machinations of political correctness.”

Since so many people insist on learning nothing about Islam, its goals and practices, and its dissimulation orthodoxy, they keep applying their own enfeebled assumptions as “explanations.”  They think they are being “fair” by tolerating and even defending Islam.  What they are really doing is, in essence, sharpening the knives of their beheaders.  Every time they bend over and kiss the behinds of groups like CAIR, they make better targets of themselves.  Every retreat and accommodation, for which they find all sorts of rationalizing terminology to make their behavior look “reasonable,” strengthens the very people who will tell you anything to keep you off guard while they plan to take over your country and wipe you out.

No one needs to take my words at face value.  They can prattle that mine are words of extremism, of irrational exaggeration, and hate speech.  They can say that only a small minority of Muslims believe the bad stuff and an even smaller minority do bad stuff.  They can parrot that Islam is a great religion, and one of peace, that reflects great truths and wisdom.  No one can be as bad as we say they and it are, they can say.  We are just biased, prejudiced, racist, hateful, and—horror of horrors—“islamophobic.”  This latter is CAIR’s favorite smear term for any one who oppose it or anything and anyone Islamic.

Yes, they can say all of these things.  Then, to be sure they never have to deal with any challenge to their emotionally derived points of view, they can shut their eyes, shut their ears, but not shut their mouths.  They can be like all of those in the dhimmi world, so ignorant of Islam:  magpies saying plenty, and none of it worth listening to.  In the comfort of their own ignorance, buttressed by the shared ignorance of their fellows, they prepare themselves for dhimmitude.  They never realize that dhimmitude is first and foremost a way of thinking, long before it becomes just a way of life.

If these dhimmis wake up, it might be only after a series of jihadic disasters revisits the USA.  That it takes such horrors for so many to wake up is really depressing, but it seems that is what is needed.  The President of the United States thinks like a dhimmi about Islam and Muslims, speaking big words but doing the dhimmi walk.  Most members of both houses of Congress act dhimmi.  The Supreme Court became dhimmi long before the term was coined by Bat Ye’or.  Journalists and academics are dhimmis in their willingness to relish things anti-American, thus embracing Islam as some positive value.

That particular noxious philosophy called “postmodernism,” which has infested American culture since the 1960s, has prepared Mr. and Mrs. America well to become dhimmis.  They did it by infusing into the culture the notions of political correctness, of multiculturalism, and of moral and epistemological relativism.  People sucked up these notions as though they were the reincarnation of the Ten Commandments, now in “acceptable” secular dress.

Meanwhile, CAIR, ISNA, and others press on.  Corporations run to kiss their butts, to put in prayer rooms and meet all other Muslim demands.  Got to be politically correct, you know.

All of this stuff grows inside the new dhimmis of America just as the creature in the movie Alien grew inside the body of its victims, awaiting enough development to burst out of the host’s body, killing the host, and then preying on all those still alive.

In the myth of the siege of Troy, Cassandra repeatedly warned the Trojans, but they did not listen.  The invading Greeks took the Trojans out.  However, no one attacked Cassandra for trying to warn her people.  Mr. Graham and Mr. Tancredo are modern day Cassandras.  They differ from the original in that they are being attacked for trying to warn their countrymen.

* Yes, I make such a distinction.  I have studied Islam, and that includes reading its core documents.  Islam precludes any Muslim from honestly swearing an oath of allegiance to any non-Muslim entity or country.  That is why the native English people became so shocked that these Muslims launched attacks in London during July of 2005.  “How could they?  They are British,” were among the astonishingly ignorant responses of Britons to the behavior of these Muslims, all of who had been born in Britain.  They might have been born in Britain, even naturalized, but they were not Britons—they were and are Muslims.  Islam uses various dissimulation methods, such as allowing Muslims to express allegiance to a country or even the military of a country.  However, it is just a ruse; it is lying in the service of Islam.  You never know when you are being told the truth.  Check it out for yourself.
