We want to draw your attention to the
fact that this April 2007 edition of 6th Column
Against Jihad has three reviews of books which
will be included on this page in the future.
Please see the reviews of
Because They Hate,
Infidel, and
An Introduction to Islam.
Where Does One Start to Understand
Islam and Jihad?
As the warring Muslims bring on carnage daily across the
globe, more and more Americans
are waking up. We have an
obligation to bring useful
resources and concepts to the
attention of readers, to make it
easier for them to get up to
speed. None of the
following lists is intended to
be exhaustive, but they are
open. So, if any reader
wishes to recommend, please do.
Websites and Blogs
These are terrific sites which keep your
mind on the pulse of current
events involving the USA and
Islamia. Not every article, as
you might assume, deals with
this war, so pick and choose.
Enjoy the other articles on
these sites–they add nicely to
the fund of general knowledge.
Also, please note that our
sister blogsite,
Sixth Column, has
its own links, some of which do
not duplicate the
following on this page.

NEW
RECOMMENDATIONS
We are very pleased to state
that a colleague-in-arms has
posted the entire text, in
English, of Andre' Servier's
The Psychology of the Musulman.

(Dedicated to exposing the
interconnected web of left-wing

journalists, and financiers that
wage political warfare against
the United States and her
founding ideals.)
Some sites generate new postings daily, such
as Jihad Watch. Others follow
the work week, such as Front
Page Magazine and Best of the
Web. Others follow no
schedule. Visiting these sites
often, you will quickly learn
their periodicity. And, by the
way, there are many other sites
which are useful to know about,
some good and some from the
enemy.
Other websites of value
Each of these sites offers value: Differing
things at different times, and,
of course, varying value, but
always worth
checking out.
This is in no way a
comprehensive listing.

BOOKS
The same may be said of books as
was said of websites: This
list is not exhaustive.
These are the books we have read
and recommend. We also
have reviewed some other books
which may not be on this list
(see
Site Contents).
Foundation books
We now have a treasure trove of excellent
works written by authors who
analyze facts and write the
truth about Islam. There are too
many to cite for this
introductory list; others will
be cited in time. These listed,
we regard as the very best. Once
these have been read, the reader
will be able to understand all
of the basics of Islam and be
able to navigate through all
materials expertly. No
apologists for Islam appear on
this listing.
1. Onward Muslim
Soldiers, Robert
Spencer, Regnery Books, ISBN:
0-89526-100-6, 2003. His second
book which adds extensive
factual information about Islam
and Jihad to his first book.
2. Islam Unveiled,
Robert Spencer, Encounter Books,
ISBN: 1-893554-58-9, 2002.
His first book, which provides considerable
background information about
Islam.
3. Why I Am Not A
Muslim, Ibn Warraq,
Prometheus Books, ISBN:
0-87975-984-4, 1995.
A sentinel volume by an apostate, giving background
information about Islam that is
hard to find elsewhere.
4. Prophet of Doom,
Craig Winn, Cricketsong Books,
ISBN: 0-9714481-2-4, 2004.
Extensive presentation from
the basic works of Islam to show
the fraudulence of Islam and the
nefarious character of Muhammad.
5. Leaving Islam,
Ibn Warraq, Prometheus Books,
ISBN: 1-59102-068-9, 2003.
True life
stories by apostates who left
the lands of Islam and Islam
itself after enduring the
horrible caused by Islam.
6. Koran,
translated by N.J.Dawood,
Penguin Books, ISBN:
0-14-044558-7,1999.
Everybody needs to read one,
at least once. This is a
relatively unembellished and
unpolitically correct
translation in a paperback
format.
7. The Arab Mind,
Raphael Patai, ISBN
1-57826-117-1, 2002.
Dr. Patai
demonstrates how Arabs, thus
Islamists, think and behave, why
they talk and act the ways they
do.
8. The True Believer,
Eric Hoffer, Perennial Classics,
ISBN: 0-06-050591-5, 1951.
The key to understanding mass movements such
as Islam.
10. Unholy Alliance: The American Left
and Radical Islam,

NY,2004: ISBN: 0-89526-076-X.
This book paired with
Ominous Parallels
arms you for America's Fifth
Column.
11. Ominous Parallels, Leonard
Peikoff, Meridian, NY,1982:
ISBN: 0-452-01117-5. Dr.
Peikoff gives the root causes
for today's nihilism and what to
do about it. This book paired
with Unholy Alliance
arms you for America's Fifth
Column.
12. The Sword of the Prophet, Serge Trifkovic;
Regina Orthodox; ISBN 1-928653-11-1; 2002.
13.
Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades), Robert
Spencer; Regnery, Washington, DC; ISBN
0-89526-013-1 2005.
14.
Dawning of a New Dark Age,
Mark Alexander. This link takes you to the Barnes
and Noble site where you can find additional details,
including how to order. We have long regarded this
book as one of the best, if not the best, book for
anyone new to Islam--that is, anyone who wants to
understand the truth about Islam, without propaganda.
The author experienced Islam up-close-and-personal for
many years in Saudi Arabia and Oman.
15.
The Truth About Muhammad, by Robert Spencer,
Regnery Books, Washington, D.C; ISDN 1-59698-028-1; 2006
Readers: Please send
us your book recommendations.
If we had to pick the top six books as a starter
kit, we would select books 1, 2,
3, 12,13, and 15. They are well-written
and highly informative. It would
be a shame to stop after reading
the fourth book,
but considerable ignorance would
be a thing of the past by then.
If you know almost nothing about
Islam, start with book number 13
on the list.
